- An insight into the biology and epidemiology of liver fluke and rumen fluke, and it’s relevance to control of these parasites.
- An understanding of diagnostic approaches to both parasites and how these can be used appropriately in different farm settings and at different times of the year to assess risk and inform management.
- A knowledge of the different treatment options, their advantages and limitations, and the ability to develop a farm-appropriate treatment control plan using this information alongside diagnostic/risk assessment.
