I graduated from RVC in 2011 and started in practice in north wales. I remained at the same practice for 12yrs, specialising in farm animal work and started and ran a successful Flock health club for the last 5yrs. I enjoyed all aspects of Clinical work, especially farm animal surgery and preventative herd and flock health and gained a great deal from Working with farmers to help them focus and improve stock welfare, health and productivity. 

I married a welsh beef and sheep farmer and In 2024 on returning from my second maternity leave I decided to move to a non clinical role working at the wales veterinary science centre as a veterinary disease investigator to bring myself a new challenge and further opportunities within the profession.
