Amelia began her nursing career in 2008 and developed an early interest in wound management and tissue viability, anaesthesia and clinical governance. Having always championed the veterinary nursing profession, her passion for educating and encouraging nurses to utilise their skill sets steered Amelia to teaching wound management to veterinary teams and speaking on the subject at various national events.

 Amelia spent many years in lead and head nurse positions within primary care practices and as an OSCE examiner and SQP assessor. In more recent years, she diversified into non-clinical roles as a Territory Account Manager for a veterinary instrument supplier, prior to joining Linnaeus in 2023 as Regional Nursing Manager for the South West.
